EMDR Supervision with Dr Lisa Ahmad
I am a Clinical Psychologist and EMDR Accredited Consultant in Training, with more than twenty years of post qualification clinical experience. I use EMDR exclusively in all my clinical and coaching work, across a range of presentations such as: trauma, anxiety, addictions, eating disorders, sleep difficulties, performance blocks and burnout.
Why work with me as your EMDR supervisor
I have worked within the NHS and the military, and now work exclusively in my own private practice where EMDR is at the heart of everything I do. I specialise in evidence based EMDR for both clinical therapy and performance based work, including leadership, corporate and high performance settings.
Supervision with me is grounded in clarity, structure and fidelity to the EMDR standard protocol. My aim is to help you become confident, accurate and effective in your EMDR practice, whether you are newly trained, building toward accreditation or working with complex presentations.
Supervision is a part of my work that I value deeply. My own supervision has shaped me as a clinician, sharpened my decision making and strengthened my confidence with the model. I bring that same commitment, curiosity and respect to the clinicians I supervise. My focus is on championing your development, supporting your judgment and helping you feel steady, skilled and proud of the work you deliver.
Supervision Formats
Individual EMDR supervision
Tailored for clinicians who want robust supervision that aligns to the evidence base. Build the confidence you need to develop your skills in applying EMDR to your clinical practice.
EMDR Group Supervision
Monthly closed groups with up to 5 clinicians and a minimum of 6 months commitment to attend regularly. Groups run on different days of the week and follow a clear structure designed to enhance your confidence, sharpen your formulation skills and uphold EMDR best practice.
Groups are 1.5-2hrs depending on group size and are suitable for those working in services, private practice or working towards accreditation.
Supervisee Resource Vault
Support between sessions, not just in them
All supervisees receive access to my private EMDR Resource Vault. This includes:
- Video answers to frequently asked questions
- Protocol clarifications
- Worksheets and supervision preparation tools
- Updated EMDR guidance and links
- Practical tips to strengthen your use of the standard protocol
The Resource Vault is a closed and dedicated space designed to enhance your learning and help you feel more grounded, prepared and confident in your EMDR work between sessions.

Fees
One to one EMDR supervision
£135 per 55 minute session
Group EMDR supervision
£90 per person for each 1.5-2 hour group session (group size dependant)
Six month commitment is required for all groups to support consistency.

A tailored proposal and fee structure can be provided.
Fees are invoiced monthly.
